Mark Spencer
| Mark Spencer is the author of A Haunted Love Story, The Masked Demon, Images of America: Monticello, The Weary Motel, Only Missing (winner of the Faulkner Society’s Faulkner Award for Fiction), Love and Reruns in Adams County, Wedlock, and Spying on Lovers (short stories, winner of the Patrick T.T. Bradshaw Book Award).
His short stories and articles have appeared in a wide variety of literary magazines, including The Laurel Review, Short Story, Kansas Quarterly, Texas Review, New Mexico Humanities Review, Storyglossia, Tattoo Highway, Steel City Review, Blood Lotus, The Istanbul Literature Review, Bewildering Stories, and elsewhere.
He has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize eight times and has received four Special Mentions in Pushcart Prize: Best of the Small Presses. Mark has been named to Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.
