Hello, hello! This is Terrin Waack checking in for the Saturday edition of the Saints Insider newsletter. I'm actually writing this from the Houston airport in between flights home to New Orleans. Hope your Friday night was more fun than mine. Anyway, we're entering the first weekend of the 2022 regular season without a Saints game. I'm sure everyone is aware the Saints lost their Thursday night game against the Arizona Cardinals. If not, here's the gamer for a full recap. The Saints (2-5) will return to action next Sunday in the Caesars Superdome as they host the Las Vegas Raiders for a noon kickoff. The Raiders (1-4) host the Houston Texans (1-3-1) this Sunday in their own Week 7 matchup. As for new content, here's what I have to share from Nola.com: - In the weekly Marching On follow, yours truly supplied the latest and greatest stellar stats, obscure facts, notable quotes and game leaders from the Saints-Cardinals game.
- My beat partner, Luke Johnson, has already rewatched and broken down the game for y'all. It was all about the turnovers in the desert.
- On the brand-new Episode 106 of the Dattitude podcast, columnist Jeff Duncan answered the big question many fans are now asking: Is the Saints' season over?
That's it from Friday. Please check out the Saints' page on Nola.com to make sure I didn't miss anything. I need to literally and figuratively jet. Enjoy your weekend! Waack out. |
