Had a buddy that is a grain broker tell me last fall that a bunch of end users went to the USDA and asked them where the 2 billion bushel corn surplus was in the U.S.? They wanted to buy it because they had need of it. He said he heard of no reply. Maybe this is why exports are low because there is not as much corn as USDA says??????? Reason why basis is so low???????
