I'm back from Estonia and into the thick of business networking in London, which is quite the contrast.
From the snowy wilderness with black, cracked ice underfoot to squeezing into the Underground, hoping not to see a rat.
Yet there's a perfect symmetry to these kind of changes. From solitude to the multitude, starry skies to glittering eyes. As it turns out, the conference centre sits snug next to Westminster Abbey and across from Big Ben. So as evening falls, it feels as though the whole city is putting on a show.
And the commute gives me the luxury of internet-free time and the chance to read. And what am I reading? Taking the Risk by one Hilary Bradt.
