I hope you enjoyed the Easter break, in whichever form made sense for you.
I was in Portugal, drifting along the Douro Valley, learning about its history, culture, and, of course, wine.
Did you know that in this region, people celebrate by scattering pink and red petals outside their door? That's a signal for the local priest to visit, with a small entourage, for a glass of wine and either a bun or a sticky cake.
Children get to wear terrifying wooden masks and by nightfall, it's well and truly become a party. Easter Monday is then a day to relax and recover.
Anyway, the big message from me this week is to remind you to check your calendar and to come and join us at any one of the many events coming up.
Scroll down for details and we hope to see you soon!
Until next week,
Cheers, Abi
