Here in the UK it's nearly time for the school holidays. Which, even at the tender age of, ahem, twenty-one brings a childlike thrill and sense of wonder. A chance to reset, to question the routine and to dream of adventure big and small across the world.
This year, I'm staying in Europe but it's always nice to dream of far flung destinations.
And perhaps because I'm writing this at lunchtime, I'm thinking about food.
In honour of our 50th anniversary, we rounded up travel experts from several different fields to ask them what they think travel will look like in 50 years time...
With summer in full-swing, the prospect of finding a secluded spot away from the hordes of holiday-goers can be a daunting one.
So, to help you plan your perfect summer getaway, we’re shining a light on some of Britain’s lesser-trodden parts, from dramatic coastlines and remote island retreats to swathes of unspoilt moorland and historic cities.
To find out more about our plans for our 50th anniversary, head to our hub page and be the first to hear about our upcoming events, read our exclusive content and participate in the festivities!
It's always a good time to join our Travel Club for exclusive material from authors, behind the scenes access and big discounts on our books.
