Ford recalls 953K vehicles as part of next phase connected to Takata air bags
Ford reports that about 953,000 vehicles are included in its most recent expansion connected to the record-setting Takata air bag recall.The Dearborn, Michigan-based automaker says in a news release that 782,384 affected vehicles are located in the United States, and another 149,652 in Canada. In all, the Takata air bag recall has affected about 37 million vehicles, 50 million air bag inflators and resulted in 23 deaths worldwide.
