This wasn’t even the first week of 2019 but I’m already making some moves to help you grow revenue in a big way. Here are three things that happened this week that you need to know about. This is one of the subjects of The Dave Lorenzo Daily show this week and the answer is important for you and your future. Some people know who you are. Some people know what you do. But most people don’t know what you know. This means most people have no idea how you can solve their problem or help them achieve a goal. You’ve got to find ways to get in front of groups of people and help them experience the value you provide. This can be done through publishing: articles, blog posts, books, even short videos. This can also be done through speaking engagements when you provide great educational content to audiences who are just like your ideal client. Those two ways employ leverage – one-person (you) sharing information with many people. While you’re looking to share this information with new people don’t forget about the people in your network. You probably have a natural network of at least 250 people and most of them don’t know what you do for a living. Sure, they know your role. They may even know your title. But they don’t know about the value you provide and who your ideal client is. You need to fix that, one person at a time. Start having conversations. Resolutions vs. Habits Something you didn’t see this week was my work behind the scenes with my clients. This time of year (New Year’s) everyone focuses on resolutions – things they want to change. People make big plans and set lofty goals. That’s wrong. You should focus on habits not goals. The things you do on a daily basis will have more impact on your life than some arbitrary number you set for yourself. What habits would you like to install in 2019 to help you grow your revenue?
