Pitch & Play LIVE! will once again showcase the CEE region's best original format concepts
NATPE Budapest, the most prominent global TV market focused on the EMEA and CEE regions, and leading industry news platform CEETV are now accepting submissions for the seventh edition of Pitch & Play LIVE!
This format pitching competition will be a feature highlight at NATPE Budapest 2023 (June 19 to 22, Intercontinental Hotel), continuing the event's longstanding tradition of seeking out and celebrating new format concepts from the CEE region with the most international potential. Previous winners have gone on to successfully finance, produce and sell their shows globally.
The registration and application process for Pitch & Play LIVE! remains the same, and any original unscripted format concept created after May 1, 2022 can be submitted for consideration.
A selection committee will evaluate each format based on three criteria: originality (how fresh and unique is the concept), universality (does it have flexibility for changes and development), and internationality (does the format have worldwide sales potential). The three entries that receive the most points will be selected to take part in the Pitch & Play LIVE! Final, which is scheduled to take place at NATPE Budapest on Tuesday, June 20.
