Shoptalk last chance: Register now for An Evening With Code Commerce
| Hi, Tim Armstrong has led a storied career inside some of tech’s biggest brands: He ran Google’s ad division, then AOL and Verizon’s media division, Oath. Now he’s entering commerce. Earlier this month, Armstrong launched “the dtx company.” He intends to invest in direct-to-consumer brands, and his company will help them achieve scale and market their wares through experiences. Current investments include ThirdLove and Dirty Lemon. Armstrong has big dreams for these experiences. He told CNBC that he’s envisioning a “festival of the future” — a cross between CES and Coachella that would pop up in traditionally underserved markets so consumers can experience these emerging brands. Sound interesting? Join us at An Evening With Code Commerce at Shoptalk to see Kara Swisher and Jason Del Rey grill Armstrong about his vision and his new company. |
