Former Nissan execs charged with falsifying income

The US Securities and Exchange Commission has filed criminal complaints against former Nissan Chairman Carlos Ghosn and another former executive, Greg Kelly, on suspicion that they underreported Ghosn's income. Prosecutors in Japan reportedly suspect Ghosn's income was underreported by roughly $80 million over five years.

Companies facing challenges in finding both lower-skilled and higher-skilled workers are turning to automation for lower-skill tasks and focusing on "upskilling" current employees. A DHL study of companies in the logistics industry found that 46% of those surveyed had trouble finding middle management, 73% had trouble finding high-level management and 58% said finding employees with a combination of tactical and operational experience was difficult.
