Former Superior Energy office in Broussard sold

by Adam Daigle | Acadiana business editor

Good morning on this Monday, Acadiana business news readers. It's supposed to rain today in Lafayette Parish. Let's get to the headlines.

This was a headline that I missed late last week: The city of Broussard recently signed a contract to purchase the former Superior Energy complex at 5801 U.S. 90 and 110 Bercegeay Road.

The Broussard City Council approved an introductory budget amendment during its regular Tuesday meeting to fund the project, which Mayor Ray Bourque said will serve as affordable solution to an expensive problem.

The building was listed for just over $2.2 million.

Check out the story here.

Thanks for reading and have a great day.
