Former Iranian diplomat and senior regime official Mohammad Jaffar Mahallati, now a professor of religion at Oberlin College, stands accused of helping to cover up a mass murder of Iranian dissidents in the late 1980s. Despite his continuing ties to the regime and Hezbollah, he remains securely employed at the college, which maintains radio silence. Is Mahallati unique? What should be done? How to spur Washington to take a closer look at Iranian operatives?

Lawdan Bazargan, a former prisoner in Iran, had family members killed in Iran's 1988 massacre of dissidents. Active in the “Iran Tribunal Court," she is a member of the "Revolutionary Council of Dadkhahan Iran," which consists of family members of the victims of the Islamic Regime since 1979. She has a BA and MA from California State University, Fullerton.

Alireza Nader, engagement director at the National Union for Democracy in Iran, was a senior researcher at the RAND Corporation and senior fellow at FDD. He has written widely on Iran and related topics, has advised the U.S. government, and testified before Congress. He has lectured at the George Washington University and worked for the Department of Defense. He has a BA from UC-Santa Barbara and an MA from George Washington University.
