Dan Schu'eftan is a professor at the University of Haifa and one of Israel's deep thinkers. He formerly taught at Georgetown University and at the IDF's National Defense College. He is the author of several books on national security issues and contemporary Middle Eastern history.

Born in Kirkuk, Diliman Abdulkader and his family spent seven years in a refugee camp in Syria following the Gulf War. Today, he is president of American Friends of Kurdistan, an independent advocacy and education organization working to advance US-Kurdish relations. He received BA from the University of Washington and his MA from the American University in Washington, D.C.
