The Price of Standing Up to Hamas in Gaza with Rami Aman Rami Aman organized a “Skype with Your Enemy,” call between 200 Gazans and Israelis in 2020. For this, Hamas arrested him along with two others, charged him with “weakening revolutionary spirit,” tortured him, and imprisoned him for eight months. It only released him on condition he divorce his wife. But Aman has not given up and argues that Hamas is increasingly unpopular in Gaza. What was his experience in a Hamas prison?
