Today's Top 10 Stories | #1 | | Fox To Live Stream Primetime Programming | | | Fox announced today that it will begin to stream its primetime entertainment programming live nationwide starting tonight with So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation. Entertainment programs will be available for authenticated pay-TV subscribers to view live on via Fox.com and Fox Now for iPhone, iPad, Android, Kindle Fire, Apple TV and Google Chromecast. Why This Matters: The initiative will make Fox the first broadcaster to simulcast its primetime programming on its own digital platforms in all 210 television markets nationwide. Sports programming will not be included and live-stream viewing will not be included in Nielsen ratings for Fox programming. | #2 | | Altice Licenses Olympic Content from NBC | | | Altice USA announced that it has agreed to license the full multiplatform offering of NBC Universals coverage of the Summer Olympics next month, representing about 6,755 hours of programming, live and on-demand. Why This Matters: Comcast/NBCU is opening up the large portion of coverage not shown on its linear networks to TV Everywhere authentication.
