Swedish telco vendor Ericsson and Telstra announced they have completed the first phase of enabling slice-based cases like fixed wireless access, broadcasting, automotive connectivity, stadium or precinct services on Telstra’s network by harnessing Ericsson’s dynamic network slicing solution.



Israeli communications service provider Partner Communications has picked network software provider Mavenir’s small cell solution to improve in-building and enterprise 4G mobile coverage for its subscribers, delivering speeds of up to 150Mbps and 50Mbps in the uplink and supporting up to 16 mobile devices at the same time.

Late last year Foxtel Group announced its new division and new platform Hubbl, which is designed to overcome subscription fatigue with one device to rule them all. Now the broadcaster has revealed the app line-up with a mix of local and global options.
