Happy Friday, Acadiana business news readers. Let's get to the headlines.

Frank Randol, the longtime owner of Randol's Seafood who became an ambassador of sorts for the seafood industry, has parachuted back into the news. He has a deal in place to buy the former Pont Breaux's site in Breaux Bridge.

It'll house a restaurant, dance hall and seafood processing plant, according to an announcement released late yesterday.

The sale is expected to close next week. The restaurant could open by the end of the year.

Check out the full story here.

Have a great weekend and thanks for reading.
