Immigration fraud: A 62-count indictment unsealed last week outlined a web of alleged fake police reports, fraudulent visas and tens of thousands of dollars in bribes in rural Rapides and Allen parishes. Hit and run: A Belle Chase man was arrested overnight Friday after he intentionally hit a New Orleans police officer and sheriff's deputy in the French Quarter. Catherine Zeilman has this report.
