What we learned from 700 church leaders

Our nationwide survey of more than 700 church leaders showed nearly one-third serve in congregations that have suffered from some form of financial misconduct. Churches of all sizes, ages, and locations are susceptible, according to the survey’s findings—and fraud prevention experts say the vulnerabilities that perpetrators commonly exploit are ones easily remedied.
