Learn about space at Imperial Lates Imperial College stays open late for an evening themed on space. Witness a Miracle on Leake Street Miracle on Leake Street is becoming an annual tradition.Head down to the Leake Street tunnel underneath Waterloo station on Thursday for Miracle on Leake Street, a free-entry Christmas party that's open to everyone. As always, it takes place on the first Thursday in December, which this year falls on 7 December (though you'll likely see the tree in situ a little while before that), with a ceremony beneath the Norwegian spruce as part of the event. Enjoy the Royal Drawing School's new exhibition Over 400 drawings, prints and other works on paper go on display in the Royal Drawing School's End of Year Exhibition at its Shoreditch HQ, and it's also available to view online. It showcases works by this year's students from The Drawing Year, a full scholarship postgraduate-level course. Free, 7-19 December. Listen to Christmas songs played by a brass band Enjoy a touch of brass at a free Christmas concert. Refreshments (alcoholic and otherwise) are available, and you can just show up to this free show. Chug along to a mini railway exhibition The Model Railway Club holds a December mini exhibition at its HQ near King's Cross station. We're promised a 'demonic collection' of collectibles, underground fashion, fortune tellers, original art, cultural relics, vintage clothing, unusual toys, occult trinkets, obscure records, human skulls and taxidermy.
