You Belong Here at the Southbank Centre this Summer

Everyone's welcome at the Southbank Centre this summer for You Belong Here, a diverse and exciting programme of performance, art, music and family events.

It's inspired by the Hayward Gallery's current exhibition Tavares Strachan: There Is Light Somewhere, the first mid-career survey of the New York-based, Bahamian artist, which celebrates unsung explorers and cultural trailblazers (exhibition open until 1 September).

Beyond the gallery, there are free public artworks all around the site, including the much-loved Appearing Rooms fountain — ideal for cooling off on those hot summer days. Food and drink pop-ups are dotted around the site, and don't forget to seek out the secret garden on top of the Queen Elizabeth Hall.

Swing by on weekends to catch free events for all ages on the outdoor Riverside Stage, where some of London’s most exciting collectives are curating live music, dance and more. Finally, don't miss joyous circus show Afrique en Cirque, new musical Frankie Goes to Bollywood, and enchanting family show Home — all on the programme.

You Belong Here runs until 8 September. Tap the blue button to see the full programme.
