It's whipping cream!
I rarely make buttercream frosting anymore--only when I need to hold my cake or cupcake for days. Whipped cream is easier and tastes so much better.
And I rarely make vanilla flavored whipped cream. It's so much fun to experiment. Caramel nut whipped cream with chopped, salted snacking nuts is now my favorite whipped cream.
