| Why put raisins in your cookies when you could have pears?
First, we discovered candied ginger pieces. They were fabulous. First, we made candied gingersnaps.
Then we married candied ginger with soft pear pieces to make gingered pear cookies. That was incredible.
Candied ginger with sweet pears was so good together that we made a spiced pear cake.
