Jambo John!
Ever since I came across my first metaphysical books, about our power and life’s beauty, I’ve been all about living my own personal dreams.
I never bought into the notion of putting the needs of others before my own. I reasoned I was not put on this earth (nor choose to be here), with my unique dreams and character, to deny who I was.
And so began a very unlikely journey…
As more and more of my dreams came true, something unexpected happened: my good fortunes spilled over into the lives of others, unintentionally.
As my life began looking like a fairytale (albeit, not until my 40’s), the plot thickened. My greatest burning desires actually evolved into helping other people, intentionally.
And, although I would not have believed this at the outset of my journey, I can now clearly see that the more I’ve helped others, whether intentionally or unintentionally, the more I’ve prospered… and this prosperity has increased exponentially over time.
I can’t help but wonder how much faster I might have thrived had I not been so naïve about considering the needs of others. After all, I’ve found that doing so does not negate my own needs, but elevates them—my needs and the needs of others are not mutually exclusive.
I’ve learned a lot in this journey that I’m excited to share with you, as I aim to reach and help as many more people as I can.
