GivingTuesday is a global movement that inspires people to give, build, and celebrate acts of generosity. Created over seven years ago, this social media-driven campaign has allowed organizations to share their missions and raise funds to effect change in the communities they serve.
This year, on Tuesday, December 1st, Art in Action would like to THANK those who have supported us during this world-wide pandemic by inviting you to join a FaceBook Live online art lesson.
The lesson, “Yarn-bombed Wish Tree”,is designed to encourage expressions of hopes, dreams, and wishes while creating a whimsical art piece. It is the first lesson in Art in Action’s Healing Through Arts program. The program is slated to expand in 2021 to support youth mental wellness and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
