Dr. Megan Cortazzo, the Corporate Coding and CDI Medical Director for the University of Pittsburg Medical Center will discuss how UPMC is approaching quality monitoring.  She will discuss current workflow which comprises a combination of efforts from departments including and outside of CDI and Coding.  She will share examples and discuss how potential Patient Safety Indicators are interpreted from various viewpoints.
