Dr. Haidy Elghamrawy
Assistant Professor, Royal Military College of Canada
Dr. Haidy Elghamrawy is an Assistant Professor at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Royal Military College of Canada (RMCC) and the deputy director of the navigation and instrumentation research lab (NavINST). Her research interests are related to anti-jamming techniques for global navigation, satellite systems-based positioning, inertial Navigation, intelligent multi-sensor systems with applications related to positioning and navigation of autonomous vehicles and mobile robot systems, machine learning-based positioning, and intelligent transportation.
Dr. Elghamrawy holds a B.Sc. degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (2009) and an M.Sc. degree in Engineering Mathematics and Physics (2013), both from Cairo University, Egypt. In addition, she holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (2019) from Queen’s University, Kingston, ON, Canada. Dr. Elghamrawy is a member of IEEE and IEEE Women-In-Engineering (WIE). She is a Professional Ambassador for Ontario Women in Engineering (OnWIE) and a Global Ambassador for WomenTech Network. She has published several conference, journal, and magazine papers in prestigious conferences and journals.
