Hundreds of truckers and protesters have been rallying outside Ottawa’s Parliament Hill and demanding an end to Covid-19 vaccine mandates, making many city residents afraid.

“I just don’t feel safe to be there,” one said. “I do not feel safe in downtown Ottawa right now … and to be honest, I am a little bit disappointed that this protest [is] still happening across Canada.”
