Critical report: A newly released portion of a 2019 security consultant's report describes the French Quarter as rife with rival groups with competing agendas that failed to cooperate. Meanwhile, one security expert says the New Year's Day attack will change the way New Orleans hosts special events the same way that 9/11 changed the way Americans fly. Plant plans: Korean auto giant Hyundai is planning a multibillion dollar steel mill in Ascension Parish to supply its stateside vehicle assembly plants. The mill will create roughly 1,300 full-time jobs. Stephanie Riegel and Tyler Bridges have the story.
Mayor arrested: Two years ago, Tyrin Truong became Bogalusa's youngest mayor after beating the incumbent at age 23. On Tuesday, he was arrested by Louisiana State Police and is accused of drug violations and allegedly organizing a party in Atlanta where a prostitute was hired. Willie Swett has this report.
