Trash talk: Once again, the city's most popular neighborhood for tourists has its garbage collection in jeopardy, this time with the contractor set to pick up the trash accusing a subcontractor of duping it into bringing them onboard. Ben Myers has the story.
School threats: New Orleans police have arrested three juveniles in connection with online threats against roughly a dozen schools this week, a wave that continued Friday with several more closures and lockdowns. Missy Wilkinson has this report.
Stormy season: Researchers are predicting that the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season will be classified as "extremely active" by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, only the 11th time that's happened in the last 50 years. Kasey Bubnash has the details.
