A Message From the Editor

Good Morning. Freshfields has been accused of engaging in conflicts of interest related to the firm's role on Germany's Elbtower. Also, Argentina has been ordered by a U.S. court to pay bondholders more than $300 million. And in the U.K., law firms are taking notice after regulators brought charges against Simpson Thacher for not complying with anti-money laundering regulations, fearing the crackdown will continue and generate bad press for firms and tarnish their image with clients.
