SEWE cancels 2021 event, says moving forward ‘irresponsible’

Executive Director John Powell said the decision to cancel the annual Southeastern Wildlife Exposition came down to a “numbers game” as staff and board of directors weighed the financial risks against the health risks and integrity of the 40-year event.

Nexsen Pruet expanding outside of Carolinas

Nexsen Pruet, a law firm with offices in Columbia, Greenville, Charleston and Myrtle Beach, has opened an office in Texas. The company said the move is designed to allow its agribusiness attorneys to better serve clients across the country.
