My Take: It seems investors are buying this rumor, but PXD has been having a rough run as of late. Its valuation looks good, but it's been locked into a steep downtrend since early September.
Applied UV [AUVI] - Last Close: $0.3114
Applied UV unveiled a new product early this morning.
The commercial disinfectant systems company said it will introduce its new Airocide® Pro+ food preservation system at an upcoming trade show.
The system safely & effectively removes ethylene, a natural gas that encourages ripening in fruits & vegetables, from refrigerated trucks to prevent spoilage.
Applied UV said it will introduce the device alongside its development partner, Canon Virginia at the Global Produce & Floral Show running Oct. 19th to 21st,
AUVI is trading actively with a 29.9% gain.
My Take: The upcoming trade show could provide another catalyst for AUVI, but I think most of the good news may already be priced in after this move.
Vaccinex [VCNX] - Last Close: $0.8202
Vaccinex is rallying on reports of insider buying.
According to a recent Form 4 filing, Albert Friedberg, a 10% owner/director at the company, purchased $3 million worth of shares on Oct. 3rd.
Friedberg now controls over 5 million shares of VCNX common stock.
Shares of VCNX are up 40.1% on active trading volume in the premarket.
My Take: VCNX also has a rough-looking chart, and it could be a while before it re-establishes a positive trend. This rally could be short-lived.
ParaZero [PRZO] - Last Close: $0.6476
A favorable regulatory decision is lifting shares of ParaZero.
Australia's Civil Aviation Safety Agency authorized OVRL drones to operate in populated areas when using ParaZero's safety system.
ParaZero's advanced parachute safety system will ensure a disabled drone doesn't fall from the sky, potentially injuring civilians and damaging property.
OVRL, ParaZero's regional partner, is a commercial drone operator and training organization, whose drones will utilize the parachute system.
Shares of PRZO are up 43.3% in response to the green light from regulators.
My Take: PRZO has performed poorly since debuting in July, but this story could generate some interest in the company. I'm keeping my eye on this one.
