An interactive theme park-inspired artwork in the West End

Leicester Square's looking a whole lot more colourful right now, thanks to an eye-popping piece of public art that encourages folks to see the world through a new lens. This is Catch Me If You Can by Sam Williams, and you've got just a couple of weeks left to experience it.

The sculpture is inspired by the artist's experiences growing up in a theme park — check out those tunnel slide-esque tubes and funhouse-style mirrors — and invites the viewer to unleash their playful side, via a fun augmented reality game.

Catch Me If You Can is part of Brighter Future, a public art commission by award-winning cultural initiative Art of London, in partnership with the National Gallery X, which has seen incredible artworks by the likes of Zarah Hussain and Fiona Quadri pop up around the West End. Click below to find out more about the commission, which runs until 16 October.
