Sisters Holly and Mimi Rey's new baking show comes to SABC 3 on 4 April – just in time for Easter weekend.
Roast leg of lamb, Hasselback potatoes, caramelised baby carrots, and green salad are on the menu; the award-winning musician tells News24 in a quick Q&A.
As for dessert, courtesy of the sisters: orange hot cross bun loaf, Easter rocky road, Easter chocolate chip cookies, vanilla shortbread bunnies, berry meringue nests served with chocolate ice cream – and "lots and lots of Easter eggs!"
Baking With The Reys is a ten-part cooking series filmed in Holly's kitchen. The show aims to spark a love for baking and hopes to create fun activities for parents to do with their kids to get them more involved in the kitchen.
