The Swiss tourism sector made a remarkable recovery in 2023, and 2024 promises continued growth, supported by additional direct flights from SWISS International Airlines linking Washington, D.C., and Zurich, as well as between Toronto and Zurich. This new SWISS route is a significant step for the Lufthansa Group making Washington Dulles only the second US gateway to offer customers flights to all five Lufthansa Group hubs.
