Dal refers to dried legumes used in making a dish, and the ways to prepare dal are endless. Many cultures have their own version of dal, and it is easy to make different varieties of this hearty meal by simply changing up a few ingredients. Dal is a favorite of the McDougall Kitchen because we always have lentils, beans and peas in our pantry. We selected our favorite dal recipes to share with you, just make sure you make a double batch as they go quickly!
