It's common for people who are trying to lose weight to hit a plateau. When this happens to participants of the 12-Day McDougall Program we recommend they switch to the McDougall Program for Maximum Weight Loss. Our Maximum Weight Loss program avoids calorie dense foods like nuts, seeds, avocado, tofu and breads while incorporating more vegetables and eating enough starch to feel satiated. Start each meal with soup or a salad, then fill your plate up with 50% starch and 50% vegetables and eat until you're comfortably full.
