Here's some good news - pasta absorbs a lot of water when it’s cooked, falling between 320-630 calories/pound on the calorie density scale. Research shows that eating foods that are between 300-800 calories/pound enables people to lose or maintain weight. This is great because pasta can be paired with a variety of your favorite vegetables and spices and offer so many different flavor combinations, the possibilities are endless.
