Perhaps you don't know American composer Richard A. Whiting by name, but you'd likely know him by song. Whiting penned songbook standards including "Ain't We Got Fun?," "She's Funny That Way" and Shirley Temple's signature "On the Good Ship Lollipop" during his prolific early 20th century career.

Whiting wrote "The Japanese Sandman" in 1920, one of dozens of hits he composed for Jerome H. Remick publishing. "The Japanese Sandman" was recorded by bandleader Paul Whiteman and subsequently performed by leading jazz greats Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Django Reinhardt and more.

Play this lively roaring '20s favorite for free through the month of August only. Claim your sheet music gift for piano/vocal/chords, guitar tab and instrumental solos with optional piano accompaniment.
