The Lancet Commission on Evidence-Based Implementation in Global Health is seeking your insights to help close the gap from evidence to implementation. NCI seeks applications for projects in LMIC settings The National Cancer Institute (NCI) Center for Global Health (CGH) seeks Career Development Award applications from early career scientists conducting global cancer research. They welcome proposals for mentored research in LMICs and applications from established investigators focused on global cancer research education in LMICs. Areas of interest include cancer biology, epidemiology, prevention, clinical and translational research, implementation science, health systems, disparities, surveillance, informatics, integrative oncology, survivorship, and technology-driven cancer control solutions. Apply for the NIH Environmental Justice Scholars Program! Scholars in the Environmental Justice (EJ) Scholars Program work with staff members across NIH. U.S.âbased or international midâcareer to senior scientist candidates and environmental justice community leaders from academic, nonâprofit, or private sectors are eligible to apply. Call for Applications: Global Forum on Humanitarian Health Research 2025 The Global Forum on Humanitarian Health Research (GFH2R) is a unique convening that seeks to elevate the voice of researchers from settings affected by humanitarian crises, especially low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), through a series of webinars and an in-person meeting taking place in Nairobi, Kenya in May 2025. Application deadline: October 1, 2024 - CARB-X's funding solicitation for products that address drug-resistant bacterial infections will be open from September 23 to October 4, 2024.Applications will be accepted for: therapeutics for infections caused by Gram-negative pathogens, prevention for invasive disease, diagnostics for neonatal sepsis, and proof-of-concept for novel sample types for diagnosing lower-respiratory-tract infections.
