Funding to Develop Your Workplace Practices

The Workforce Innovation Voucher scheme can be used to develop a company’s workforce in partnership with a college or university.

Its purpose is to support innovation to develop the company’s workforce in partnership with a college or university – for example, a new or enhanced workplace business processes, workplace practice or innovative business expertise.

The scheme offers funding of between £1,000 and £5,000, which covers the project costs and is paid directly to your partner university or college.

Funding For Employers To Create Job Placements For 16 to 24 Year Olds

The UK government introduced its Kickstart Scheme to create high-quality six-month work placements. It is aimed at those aged 16 to 24 who are on Universal Credit and are deemed to be at risk of long term unemployment.

If you are applying for a grant to create 30 or more jobs, you can apply directly to the Kickstart Scheme. If you are applying to create 29 or fewer jobs, you should find an existing Kickstart gateway, such as a local authority, charity or trade body, to apply on your behalf.
