You’re correct. | Surprised? We don’t blame you. The median renter’s age in 2021, just three years earlier, was 33. So in three years, the median age has gone up by nine. | Rent for single-family homes has jumped 41% higher than pre-pandemic levels, averaging $2,174 in December 2024.
