Good afternoon,

I hope you are outside enjoying the incredible weather today?

After a dull start the weather really helped top off a great bank holiday weekend - thanks to everyone who shared their sunshine pics with us.

With temperatures set to climb even higher today, make sure you cover up, or find a perfect spot in the shade as there's nothing worse than getting burnt.

As always the Lancashire Post team will be working hard to bring you all the latest from across the region.

Take care and stay safe.
