Port’s volume growth continues

The S.C. Ports Authority saw record container volumes and steady growth in other sectors last month as its fiscal year continues to progress at a similar pace to last year. The port moved 211,020 TEUs across the Wando Welch and North Charleston container terminals in January, the highest total ever for January TEU volumes.

Coldwell Banker Commercial Caine’s David Sigmon, Matt Vanvick and Pete Brett represented a private investor in the off-market acquisition of an eight-property, fully leased medical office portfolio. The offices total 50,210 square feet and the consideration for the sale was $17.6 million. The property closed on Dec. 19. The portfolio is leased to Blue Cross Blue Shield DBA Doctors Care, a provider of urgent care services throughout the state. This transaction was the largest of the year for Coldwell Banker Commercial Caine.
