The future of Kogan’s consumer business is on shaky ground. Online retailer Kogan is rationalising its consumer business under pressure from increased competition and will concentrate on further growing its main business to business divisions.

Telstra has sold its remaining 6.5% stake in the Chinese car website Autohome to Ping An Insurance Group for US$227 million (A$282 million).

New Zealand's Commerce Commission has refused to allow the merger of Sky Network Television and Vodafone New Zealand. Vodafone is already the dominant mobile carrier in NZ and the merger would have given the telco a very strong position in the broadband space.
