Wilmington USCT Public Sculpture Project
Saturday, March 14, 4 PM
Be a Part of History. Cameron Art Museum was the site of the Battle of Forks Road, a Civil War skirmish whose victory was won by the United States Colored Troops (USCT) and led to the fall of Wilmington. We're working with Durham-based artist Stephen Hayes to create a work of art to commemorate the United States Colored Troops who fought here. Purchase tickets for the project fundraiser to be held March 14 or purchase a paver here.
