Drew Dinsick is better known as the Whale Capper in gambling circles, and if you're not familiar with his work, we've got an awesome surprise for you. With the clock ticking on opening kickoff, Dinsick delivers the goods on the gambling markets for MVP, Offensive Rookie of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, and Defensive Player of the Year. There's a formula you won't want to overthink for MVP (is a QB going to put up numbers? Is he going to win a lot of games? That's your guy!) but it's more important to take a walk down narrative street when envisioning potential DPOY picks. That and more on today's show. Also, check out our staff picks for each award.
It's never too early to start mining the 2021 draft class for diamonds in the rough -- specifically at a time with so many prospects opting out of the 2020 college football season for the draft. Chris Trapasso has pinpointed the prospects you need to be aware of now before they rise multiple rounds up draft boards. You've probably heard of Rashod Bateman, but you might be surprised to see a member of the Duke and Pittsburgh football teams make the list.
Being a Saints fan has been bittersweet the last few seasons. While it's nice to always be in contention, as New Orleans fans have learned, losing close games -- with controversial officiating decisions -- can get really frustrating. Cody Benjamin believes the Saints are bound to finally get over the hump thanks to Drew Brees' best supporting cast that he has -- ever -- had. Yup, you read that right. And if you're sleeping on the Saints defense, you simply haven't been following their roster-building process.

There has been a lot of discussion this offseason centered around how a Covid-truncated summer will impact teams in 2020 and for good reason. Teams have traded regular season walk-throughs for scrimmages against their teammates. Some teams won't exactly be ready to hit the ground running in September and Josh Edwards believes the teams who boast the most continuity will have a massive edge. Edwards explored this theory in his continuity power rankings.
For anyone who has already drafted their fantasy football team, they were either very unhappy or happy to see the recent turn of events with Leonard Fournette released from Jacksonville and later signed by Tampa Bay. Before you crown Fournette a value and knock Ronald Jones off your draft boards (for those of you who still have drafts this weekend), you might want to listen to Bucs head coach Bruce Arians. He says the job is still Jones' to lose and here's why.
