HARD ROCK: The likely cause of the deadly, partial collapse of the Hard Rock Hotel is coming into sharper focus, as a structural engineer hired to demolish the remains of the building becomes the second to draw attention to the steel beams on the 16th floor. Meanwhile, a grand jury will be convened to consider whether the collapse was caused by negligence that merit felony charges. WHISTLEBLOWER FIRED: Carl Cavalier, the Louisiana state trooper who spoke out publicly against police brutality and the killing of Ronald Greene by fellow officers, has been notified he is being fired for violating department policy.
